To lace shoes for wider feet, follow these steps:
- Start by threading the laces through the bottom eyelets from the outside in.
- Skip one eyelet on each side and cross the laces over to the next pair of eyelets, creating an "X" pattern.
- Continue this pattern all the way up to the top, always skipping one eyelet between each crossover.
- Tie the laces at the top as usual.
