Shoe size runs big. I ordered size 8 which is the size I wear. They are to big. Can't wear them.
They're quite comfortable, but 'waterproof' is misleading due to the tongue not being gusseted. Also, the soles offer very little protection from rocks (walking on gravel roads is like walking across a floor covered with legos in bare feet!
For me, I would give the shoes 3 stars. I will explain why, when I received the shoes, I was expecting a shoe that would not just be comfortable, but sturdy. This shoe was better on the comfort than sturdy. When looking at the shoe, it seems to have the look of a simply made piece of footwear. I liked the look and the feel in my hand with it being light weight. The shoe was very flexible and made walking around the house great. When I left the house to walk my dog, that's when I noticed how thin the sole was. On uneven pavement, I could feel every step or better yet, everything I was stepping on. If you are not walking on uneven terrain and just stick to sidewalks or equivalent, you should be fine. There was little arch support so those that need arch support should reconsider your options. This shoe would be a great indoor exercise shoe. In my opinion, the sole of the shoe could be a bit more reinforced. The shoe did offer some heal support with the cushion provided, but after a day or so, I added my own which made for easier walking. I do not believe the shoe was worth the money spent. If I wanted just a house shoe, I would have gone elsewhere for less money.
Pros: Sleek look and great feel to the touch, House slipper feel, great for indoor activities like exercise, easy to get on and off, true to fit sizing
Cons: Thin heel and sole, no arch support, value for what you get,
Overall, I would not buy this shoe again unless there were certain improvements made. Again, this is just my opinion of how they feel to me.
The design is prettier than in the photos. Very pleasant to wear and the sole has good grip.
